1. Agreement
These Terms of Use apply to the Dressy iPhone app ("the app") by Melih Arık, Türkiye ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies. If these terms and Apple's standard EULA conflict on a point both cover, the standard EULA controls for that point.
2. What Dressy does
Dressy shows an AI-generated picture of how a garment you choose might look on a photo of you. It is a visualization tool for personal use. To do this, the app sends your photos to third-party AI services as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Dressy only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree to these rules:
- Upload photos of yourself, or of another adult only if they have clearly agreed to be used in the app.
- Do not upload photos of anyone under 18.
- Do not upload, request or try to produce sexual content, nudity, underwear, swimwear or sheer or revealing outfits. Dressy is built for everyday clothing and checks every photo, garment image and result with automated moderation. It refuses images that fail the check, and it also refuses an image when the check cannot be completed.
- Do not use the app to impersonate someone, to harass or defame anyone, to deceive others, or to create content that is unlawful, hateful, violent or that infringes someone's rights.
- Do not try to get around moderation, copy or extract the app's access credentials, reverse engineer the app, or use it to build a competing service or to process images at scale.
- Do not present generated images as real photos in a way that misleads others.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You give us and our service providers the limited permission needed to process them to produce your result and to run moderation, as described in the Privacy Policy. You promise that you have the right to upload each photo, including the consent of anyone shown in it and the right to use the garment image.
Results are generated for you. To the extent we hold any rights in a result, we do not claim them against your personal use.
5. AI results are illustrations
Results are produced by an AI model and are illustrations only. They are not photographs. Fit, size, drape, colour, texture, proportions and details can differ from the real garment and from how it looks on you in person, and results can contain visual errors. Do not rely on a result as a guide to size, fit or colour when you decide to buy something. We do not guarantee that any particular photo or garment will work.
6. Subscriptions
Generating a try-on requires a Dressy Pro subscription. The app is free to download. Plans, lengths and prices are shown on the in-app purchase screen in your local currency before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of that plan.
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If an introductory offer or free trial is offered, its terms are shown before you confirm. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Apple handles billing and refunds. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.
Use Restore in the app's Settings to restore a subscription on a new device.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or remove features at any time, including because an AI service the app relies on is unavailable. We try to keep the app working but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update these terms; the date on this page shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
8. Suspension
We may stop or limit your use of the app if you break these terms or the law.
9. Intellectual property
The app, its design, text and software belong to Melih Arık or its licensors and are protected by law. Apple's licence gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control. Brand names and logos that appear in garment photos belong to their owners. Dressy is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any clothing brand.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for purchases you make based on a result, for the content of photos you upload, or for the actions of third-party services.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the courts of Türkiye, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in the country where you live.
